SHIU 25 joins a collection of fragrances inspired by the places, materials and memories that shape cities, available worldwide for one month each year.

For one month a year, Le Labo lets its City Exclusives leave the cities that inspired them. This September, the collection returns worldwide, with Shiu 25, a new fragrance created for Beijing.
Shiu 25 is a unisex Eau de Parfum built around the Shiu tree. It is inspired by Beijing’s traditional spaces of quietude and hidden gardens, with camphor wood, white florals, pink pepper, frankincense, and iris. Its scent is an escape from the noise of the city, a moment to pause.
The sense of stillness is also found at Le Labo’s Beijing He Yuan Fragrance Lab, housed within the historic Beizi Mansion in Wang Fu Central. The culturally protected site brings together traditional Siheyuan architecture with a wabi-sabi aesthetic, creating an atmosphere of centered calm.
Shiu 25 joins Le Labo’s City Exclusive collection, honouring the imprint different cities can leave behind. Each fragrance distills the spirit of its city through its characteristic materials, memories, and sensations. London’s POIVRE 23 is the warmth of Bourbon Pepper; Paris’s VANILLE 44 combines its titular vanilla with subtle notes of amber, wood, and incense; GAIAC 10 captures Tokyo through gaiac wood, musk, and incense.
Each fragrance is only available in its hometown, except every September, when Le Labo makes the City Exclusives available worldwide. Shiu 25 and the full collection are available online, in Le Labo labs, and at select retailers until September 30.
