As we’ve come to expect from this era of Dior, details are everything. The decor nods to the grey Dior boxes used at Colifichets, Christian Dior’s first boutique at 30 Montaigne in Paris, stacked in a vertiginous horseshoe arch, like a particularly luxurious cloud. These same boxes are used as part of an in-store game: choose the box containing a golden ticket and a lucky visitor will be given access to exclusive gifts designed by Anderson.

Elsewhere, the brand debuts its revised take on the Dior Book Tote, with titles from classic literature embroidered onto the front of the bag. Whether you’re a Truman Capote girl or are still riding high on last year’s Dracula wave, there’s a bag here for you. 

Oh, and of course, the clothes. The clover, one of Christian Dior’s lucky items, adorns multiple womenswear pieces: t-shirts, denim pieces and a new take on the Lady Dior bag. For the guys, an exceptional selection of ties, caps, and meticulously crafted leather goods. I’ll certainly be adding their gorgeous, chunky Roadie sneakers to my Christmas list.

Nearly a year after his appointment, we’ve seen Dior on runways, on celebrities like Greta Lee and Louis Garrell, and everywhere on social media, but there’s nothing like seeing it in person. The pop-up runs at The Corner Shop at Selfridges until 28th February.
