Wear your skincare
Coperni introduces their C+ collection, garments that make your skin glow
With their use of experimental materials and daring silhouettes, Coperni has always been future-facing. C+, their new “carewear” range, introduces what may be their biggest innovation yet: clothing that doubles as skincare.
At the heart of C+ is a 4-way stretch fabric that embeds a patented synbiotic blend of probiotics and prebiotics within a biobased slow-release matrix. Launching with three wardrobe essentials – leggings, a bodysuit, and a top, each available in black and grey – the C+ range is versatile enough for daily wear or sports while continuously delivering subtle, skin-enhancing care.
This is not the first time skincare garments have made waves. In 2021, New York brand PH5 introduced sleepwear made from yarn treated with hylauronic acid, having previously experimented with UV reactive pieces. Still, the C+ range marks a significant innovation in technology: Coperni worked with Swiss biotech pioneer HeiQ to embed prebiotics and probiotics into a slow-release, biobased matrix.
Every gram of fabric carries up to 140,000 CFU/g of live bacteria, and heat, friction, and movement trigger the release of beneficial microorganisms onto the skin, rebalancing the microbiome and supporting self-repair – all while preserving softness, breathability, and color. “Beyond covering, protecting or expressing, garments can now care for, nourish, and support the body where it feels most alive,” explain Coperni co-founders Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer. Dermatologically tested, safe, and environmentally conscious, it retains efficacy across 40 washes, making carewear part of a subtle daily ritual. It’s a revelation: clothing that doesn’t just sit on the skin, but actively works to enhance it.
