We love nothing more than a bouncing blow-dry, and we especially love them when they are 100% vegan. The award-winning Gielly Green hair and beauty salon in Marylebone opened its doors wide in 2008 and has garnered a loyal following ever since. The salon is a bright, light spa-style space decorated in rich chocolate tones and with some of the softest towels on the planet, offering full cuts, colouring, blow dries and treatments as well as facials, threading, nails and waxing. We popped in to try out the salon’s new products which are vegan, 96% natural and free from parabens, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, carcinogens and a whole load of nasties.

We were treated to the unctuous Repair Shampoo and Repair Mask to help our dried-out, heat-damaged hair, and we enjoyed a long, luxurious hair-wash on the salon’s fully reclining chairs. Enriched with argan oil, Dead Sea minerals, lemongrass and vanilla, the Repair line is perfect for treating the most parched of hair, the Volume range for thinner hair in need of a boost, and the Classic range is to be used for every-day shampooing. Selina, our brilliant stylist, tamed the frizz of a hot humid day into a soft, sleek and bouncy blow-dry with high-shine — and which lasted for well over five days.
