What? Limited-edition fragrance collaboration between Roland Mouret and artist, Leyman Lahcine.
Why? Hand-illustrated bottles offer a unique interpretation of scent.
Translating as "a trifling or ephemeral love affair", Roland Mouret’s Une Amourette scent is as seductive as it sounds... A concoction of sweet neroli, traces of cardamom, earthy patchouli, and spicy notes of pink peppercorn, it’s a truly tantalising olfactory experience.
Now, to realise the scent (which launched in 2017) through art and a visual narrative, Roland Mouret has commissioned a fellow French native – artist and self-proclaimed "dreamer", Leyman Lahcine – to interpret this unique infusion and perception of love, through his distinctive faux-naïf illustrations.
Hand-drawn onto a limited run of 50 bottles, the artist (who counts Jean Cocteau among his key inspirations) depicts two unique takes on love: A moon gazing adoringly at the sun, and delicate hands reaching for petals. For this very reason – that's not to mention its deliciously intoxicating aroma – Roland Mouret’s Vision of Love is a compelling frontrunner for our beauty launch of the week.
