Temperatures are dropping, the clocks have gone back by an hour and our inclination towards red wine over an ice cold rosé is at its worse... ho ho ho, winter's almost here!

And while we love the season for the chunky knits and the over indulgence of comfort foods, the weather's effect on our skin is making us feel a lot less merry.

Last week, we decided to dedicate our weekly live stream to the hero products that Nasreen and Delia use to combat troublesome winter skin. If you missed it, read below how they keep their visage hydrated during the colder months, and how their routine can work for you.

Delia's routine consists of...

Glossier Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector
"This Glossier exfoliator is the perfect solution in every sense of the word– by removing the dead skin and dirt from your face it leaves you feeling fresh and smooth. Using a blend of AHA, BHA and PHA acids, it's the solution to all of your skin's problems from redness to enlarged pores."

Augustinus Bader The Cream
"When it comes to skincare I trust most in aiding natural processes rather than going against them. So for me, Augustinus Bader was a love at first sight. Using revolutionary science and biological wisdom, the cream helps the body's natural process of renewing stem cells while also deeply hydrating the skin to make you look young and glowing inside and out."

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
"Sleep is the best medicine for anything from broken bones to dull skin. The Midnight Recovery Concentrate compliments this century old wisdom by aiding the natural regeneration overnight through a mixture of essential oils. Everything from it's texture to its smell leaves you calm and relaxed at night and allows you to wake up with a dreamy complexion."

Nasreen's routine consists of...

Achwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner
"This toner is one of my favourites that I always come back to. It cleanses, moisturises and instantly absorbs into the skin. Also, it’s formulated with liquorice root, which helps brighten up my complexion."

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
"I’ve tried a few vitamin c serums but few have brightened up my skin and shown long-lasting improvement as Klairs has. It’s great for those new to vitamin c and the centella asiatica really helps with blemishes!"

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream
"I admit I bought this for the sleek black packaging and beautiful ‘midnight’ blue shade but what’s kept me repurchasing is how moisturising and soothing the cream feels. Also, as it’s formulated with Guaiazulene, it is especially great for when your skin feels tired and irritated."
