Showcasing the exciting work that young artists from Accra are creating comes a new exhibition titled Rising Ghana. Featured work comes from artists Adjei Tawiah, Annan Affotey, Aplerh-Doku Borlabi, Crystal Yayra Anthony, and Lord Ohene Okyerebour all of whom work with paint to



 known for their portraiture and figurative work is rethinking contemporary painting through exploration of techniques and mixing of materials. The exhibition curated by Stephen Allotey infuses realism and impressionism showing the world how black portraiture is changing representation in painting. Ghana’s art boom is happening since 2015 and the global art community is turning its eyes to look at what is happening in Accra with its artists opposing stereotypes and shining the light on African history.
