Working for Balenciaga for nine years as well as freelancing for the likes of Kenzo, Maiyet and Paco Rabanne meant that all eyes were on Charlotte Chesnais when she debuted her eponymous jewellery label in 2014. Winning the inaugural accessories ANDAM prize allowed Charlotte to grow her label, but also added a whole lot of pressure. Charlotte well and truly rose to the challenge. It’s easy to see how she has been so heavily influenced by sculptors, as her jewellery pieces are like little pieces of architecture in themselves.

This week we love her Saturn silver and gold earrings, and we’re trying our hardest to resist all of the space-related jokes we could use (these earrings make us feel over the moon, anyone?) Like most of Charlotte’s jewellery, they are delicate, intricate and perfectly formed to compliment the shape of the face. Between Interstellar and Dior holding their Resort collection at the Palais Bulles, space is a pretty hot topic right now. So we’re pleased to see that Charlotte’s jewellery is bringing a feminine spin to this.
