This week we visited the recently opened Casadei Flagship store on 48 Albemarle Street and if you love marble finishes, velvet couches and the the sound of stilettos clicking on hardwood floors – we suggest you do the same.
While Cesare Casadei is responsible for the ultra-feminine and flattering footwear, it is architect Marco Costanzi, the label’s long-term collaborator who is responsible for the boutique’s opulent interior. Not only is this the ultimate destination for trying on the label’s signature Blade heels – named after their sharp and lethal appearance – but also for discovering a seductive selection of in-store exclusives. And we’re not the only ones crushing. So what couldn’t we resist? A pair of fringed boots that embraces your inner Jagger; fur trimmed sandals for the woman who doesn’t settle for anything less than maximal opulence; an exclusive pair of magenta platforms that will light you up like Tracey Emin’s neons; a pair of python flats that will crown you the Queen of the concrete jungle; and lastly, a pair of purple suede flats that will turn your daily blues into royal ones.
