When British knitwear brand Brora combine their expertise in creating luxurious cashmere and wool knits with the studied cool of design duo Teatum Jones, a collaboration of dreams is born. Launching next Wednesday, the inspiration behind the 18-piece collection was conceived when founders Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones took a trip to Brora’s Scottish Mills. Staying with artist Issy Tenant and her family during the visit, they were transfixed by Tenant's charming rural life and enchanting, intricate work.

The collection cleverly threads references of the artist’s life into each piece through textile and design. The geometric patterns on the neat cashmere cardigans, skirts and accessories allude to Issy Tennant’s signature gilded mirrors, which are inspired by 19th century Japanese artwork. It’s in the jumpers, however, that Issy Tennant’s dog, Wrinkle, takes centre stage with an intarsia portrait on cashmere. One of Tenant's life mottos is also emblazoned boldly on a merino knit: “Be The Person Your Dog Thinks You Are”. It's a sentiment, and collaboration, that we couldn't agree with more.

The Teatum Jones x BRORA collection will launch exclusively at BRORA’s fagship store on Sloane Square and a select few of the brand’s other boutique shops such as Marylebone High Street, Madison Avenue, New York and online at www.brora.co.uk from 18th October 2017.
