if, like us, you’re a fan of classic, well-made shoes with a little something interesting going on then this is a brand that you need to know about. Neous was born in London back in 2015 when stylist Vanessa Antonious and designer Alan Buanne decided to combine their creative efforts and fill a gap in the market for minimalist Italian footwear at a contemporary price point that still manages to be unexpected in its design. After taking a peek at the results, we’re hooked.

Their spring/summer 2018 collection is packed full of mules, pumps and slippers galore, but we were drawn in particular to the heels. Several pairs feature a rounded golden wedge that gives the illusion that of wearer balancing on a ball, next to the suede finishes in deep red, maroon or black it looks divine. If that's not your thing then their twist on the classic pump might just hit the spot – the heel is sharply angled and multiple straps wrap around the shoe to create a bandage effect. Wearable, eye-catching and well-priced - what more could you want?
