You can hold us to it... We’ll never tire of a Liberty London collaboration! The storied department store is bolstered by an archive of some 45,000 prints, meaning that news of a fresh partnership is always an inevitable excitement.

The latest brand to join the Liberty Hall of Fame – that already features the likes of Richard Quinn and Florence Welch (of Florence and The Machine) – is Budapest-based pinnacle of practicality and panacheNanushka, who reimagines its signature ski-approved puffer coat, the ‘Hide’, in two prints: the Mortimer and the Elizabeth Lilestone.

“It was a dream come true,” founder Sandra Sandor enthuses. “I’ve always loved the Liberty prints, and it was an absolute treat to trawl their extensive archives.
The Mortimer and Elizabeth Lilestone motifs stood out from the beginning. I cherrypicked them, because they encapsulate Nanushka’s world and colours – the shades of pink and plum in the Mortimer were perfect, and the darker Elizabeth Lilestone print, with its little flower details, was incredibly eye-catching. The jackets wonderfully bridge Liberty’s rich heritage with a contemporary feel – bringing vintage prints up to speed on my modern silhouette.”
