I love London for its variety, openness and freedom; for its culture, and the marriage of its strong sense of tradition with its energy and progressive nature.

Blakes Hotel, 33 Roland Gardens, Kensington, London SW7 3PF

When I’m here, I always try to go somewhere new – but I would say that, most of the time, I’ll opt for West locations to stay, such as Blakes Hotel. I’ll often take a morning stroll during the week to catch a glimpse of the men rushing to work in their impeccable suits, and the super elegant ladies taking their kids to school. I love the summer version of their uniforms – complete with straw hats!

Portobello Road Market, London W11 1AN

Work and pleasure have always been a natural combination for me, as I love what I do. When I have more time to play with, I’ll head to Notting Hill and its vintage stores – and the selection never disappoints. Victorian lace, archival Vivienne Westwood, some 90s club culture madness… You can browse forever!

C London, 23/25 Davies St, Mayfair, London W1K 3DE

I recently had an amazing Italian Sunday lunch at C London. It’s a very elegant and chic destination, but also warm and unpretentious. A dress is always a good idea – something a bit shorter like our Dubai model (with detachable feathers for the ultimate WOW effect), or the silk hand-embroidered Juno with its bit of fringe, or our Hilo made fully out of red sequins. Plus, we have just launched our new shoe collection; for the evenings, my favourite styles are mules in silk or Spain heels.

London is a small universe where I always feel welcome – cultivated, cultured and quirky, with a great sense of humour. I find it incredible how the city has become a home for so many different cultures and people. It’s this special ambience that I always look forward to experiencing.
