Season after season, run after run, there are those pieces and products that brands stay true to because they're Classics. Classics in that they're inimitable best-selling products with legions of loyal followers (us included!), who keep coming back for more. Each week, we'll be shouting about these heroes and what it is we love about them...

Founded in a small workshop in Northampton circa 1873 – by Thomas Church and his three sons Alfred, William and Thomas Jr. – Church's is a true British heritage brand. Purveying traditional oxfords, derbys, loafers, drivers and sneakers, with an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, in the brand we trust.

Having since expanded from their small workshop to an international presence – with a dedicate women's store in New Bond Street – what's endearing about the brand is how true they stay to their roots; their handmade production runs are out of Northampton

Putting a contemporary spin on their time-honoured craft, the ‘Kelsey Cut-Out’ – sporting a classic T-bar frame, complete with a rounded toe, slightly stacked heel and coordinating front straps – is a summer Classic, that we return to when the sun puts its hat on.

Caging the feet with interwoven calf leather straps, the gladiator-esque sandals have no compromise when it comes to comfort and style; there's extra cushion for the pushin', which makes us love them all the more...

But don't stop there! Discover the craftsmanship of Church's wider collection here:
