Cher - aka, the Goddess of Pop- is a go-to for Halloween outfit inspo for those who aren’t afraid to make an entrance. Her bolder, the better approach to fashion (the dictionary definition of Cher includes feathers and sequins as synonyms) has not stopped with age, and as she turned a sassy 73 in May, we’re expecting more fashion cues from her on the horizon post tour.

Yet we’re not the only ones looking to Cher this season, as Susie Cave, founder of The Vampire’s Wife, has done exactly that. Launching on November 1st, Current/Elliott and The Vampire’s Wife have collaborated in an exclusive capsule collection, mixing the latter’s gothic heroine aesthetic with Current/Elliot’s denim delectables.

As a purveyor of style, Cher’s denim and blouse look that took the cover of her 1976 I’d Rather Be With You album seems a natural source of flair for the capsule’s campaign - pictured is a windswept model with length-defying hair traipse in a Cher-like fashion. But she’s not the only superstar who left their mark, as Cave states, “I have loved designing the perfect pair of Led Zeppelin inspired jeans and blouses”. On full offer is an assortment of black lace blouses, leather culottes and classic dark denim, yet this ode to gothicism and 70s music make for a collection worthy of wearing all year round
