What’s the mantra you tell yourself first thing in the morning?
I don’t have a mantra as such, but I'm always curious about life... It might be something like: “Let’s see what today brings!"

How do you take your coffee?
Black.

If you weren’t doing what you’re doing now, what would you be doing instead?
I would be a museum curator, specialising in antiquities. I have always been fascinated by ancient civilisations and archeological finds, particularly ancient objects.

If you could only keep one outfit in your wardrobe, which would it be?
My jeans: I literally live in them.

Who’s one person you’d love to have dinner with?
I would pick the comedian Jon Stewart because he makes me laugh and I think he would be able to converse about anything and everything. I also think he is quite handsome, which is an added bonus!

What’s the main thing you would like to achieve this year?
I’d like to carve out more time for myself and to do what I love outside of work: drawing, reading and visiting galleries.

Who would you want to record your audio autobiography, voice-wise?
I hate the sound of my voice, so anyone other than me would be better! I love Rachel Weisz’s voice: it’s simultaneously intelligent and sexy.

Why do you think you ended up doing what you do?
Like quite a few of the good things in my life, I fell into it. It wasn’t planned. I feel very lucky!
