In 1978 Bottega Veneta created the Knot bag: a small hard-sided clutch with rounded corners and the maison’s signature woven leather patterning called intrecciatois. It fastened with a little knot clasp. Subject to a 2001 revival under Tomas Maier, there have been Knot bags in every Bottega Veneta collection since.

All of these totes, from TSATSAS’s clutch to Yuzefi’s handbags, like the original BV Knot bag, feature a knot of some sort.  And although neutral in tone, they are anything but bland. Rather, these are classic bags, but with a little twist (literally).
