Like Fendi and their baguette bag, or Dior and their Bar suit; Chanel is synonymous with tweed.

First used by Coco Chanel in 1925 for the iconic suit that is still being created (albeit with a modern update) today, the material has been reclaimed from its Scottish heritage to be a symbol of French je ne sais quoi. Still loved today by the fashion house, you can wear it sartorially or through their accessories.

While the tweed flap bag isn't a new addition to the Chanel roster, we've fallen head over heels for this new iterations of colours.

With a combination of lilac, scarlet and metallic threads featuring in this distinct tweed, the bag's distinct colour palette will bring a pop of joy to your everyday outfit. A traditional material updated with a modern twist and encapsulated in a useful accessory; this will be what's hanging on our arm as we stride into autumn.
