Highlighting the key pieces that define them as a brand, the selection includes the ‘Baguette’ bag, inspired by the French stick often nonchalantly placed under one’s arm, which was first released in 1997 and rose to fame as being the first ‘it’ bag. Over 20 years later, millennials and Gen Z’s are still aspiring to get their hands on this cult classic, which has been spotted on the likes of Madonna, Naomi Campbell, and most notably, playing the part of Carrie Bradshaw’s most adorned accessory in Sex and the City. If this key figure of 90s stardom already sits in your closet, then perhaps their ‘Peekaboo’ tote may be a more relevant addition. Debuted at Fendi's Spring/Summer show in 2009, it quickly became a bag lover’s favourite for its distinctive top flap secured by the twist lock. Despite its name being coined from a childhood game, the ‘Peekaboo’ is all grown up.
It's not just bags. Fendi's 'Colibri' slingback is a heel to power walk in. With a built in anti-blister cushion placed on the strap, this shoe was designed with comfort and beauty in mind – why don't all strappy shoes have the same? We hope to be wearing these one day soon, strutting down a cobbled street somewhere in the urban jungle when we're let back loose on our cities, doused in the confident energy a Fendi staple will surely provide.
