Lockdown may not have ceased, but our patience with confinement is starting to. Bored with our continuous surroundings, finding inspiration and motivation seems to be harder than ever when our days involve trivial tasks. Indulging in a book with a cup of tea, or cooking dinner while listening to a podcast is a momentary way of spicing up your day to day, but why not look to the app we love to shun; Instagram.

Endless scrolls through the social media app may uncover content counterproductive towards our intentions, but with some repurposing and intention at play, we can use it to find the bouts of inspiration unaccessible within our homes. We've asked some creative minds to share the IG's they're liking during lockdown, starting with the founder of her namesake label, Anine Bing.

Whose Instagram do you go to...

If you're in need of a mood boost?
It would have to be The Cranberries or First Aid Kit, they are both incredible bands, which I love to listen to their latest music and rock out with my children. I have been listening to First Aid Kit a lot recently as they're a Swedish brand. I grew up in Sweden so listening to bands from home gives me a little nostalgia.

If you're in need of some creative stimulation?
I love to go down to the Rosebowl Flea Market when it's on with the family, as it's a haven of vintage treasures. I am very big on interior design and absolutely love decorating my home. I moved in March, so I am still on the lookout for furniture and art to hang up on the walls!

If you're in need of design inspiration?
It would have to be Klassik Copenhagen, they are a Copenhagen dealer of original vintage furniture, ceramics, lamps and art and have some incredible content. I am Danish, so I love going back to my roots and looking at Scandinavian designs. It inspires me greatly for when I create mood boards for my collections as we offer luxurious staples, wardrobe basics and statement pieces that are inspired by the fusion of Scandinavian heritage and American Spirit.

If you're in need of a laugh?
As we’re still in lockdown, I can’t see friends or family. We are very lucky to live in a time where social media is so accessible. Family is very important to me so I like keeping up with their lives on social media or just speaking with them on the phone. A lot of people have become very creative in lockdown so it is fun to see on social media how my family is keeping busy!
