As we all adjust to our newly conflated living/working conditions - the stream of conference call notifications and emails, general noise of children/flatmates/partners/dogs in the background, endless cups of tea and futile attempts to resist the biscuit tin, we've asked our creative friends – today we have Vanessa Barboni Hallik, founder of Another Tomorrow  – to share with us their personal "Working From Home" spaces, to share with you. So have a nosey poke around...

I'm staying sane these days by...
Keeping a consistent routine in the morning really grounds me. I do my morning meditation followed by a brief (which seems to be the key!) session of yoga asanas, and listen to the news on two short podcasts over breakfast.

Seeing more of my family has been a source of major joy. My husband and I try to have lunch and take a walk every day and I've been seeing so much more of my step-kids.  I've also been borrowing their mini trampolines to get a little bit of movement between video calls!

My workspace must include the following in order for me to feel calm, creative and productive:
Light and plants and ideally my two wonderful dogs (Oscar and Lily).

I need a clean canvas of a workspace, great natural light, some life in the form of plants, and a few meaningful items in my field of vision. In my home office, I have a treasured photograph, The Necklace, by Alessandra Sanguinetti, that means a lot to me and provides a kind of soulful grounding; I've placed it so I see it the moment I walk in.

I'm staying optimistic because...
We could not continue, individually, or as a collective world, in the way we had been. Growth for growth's sake has pushed us to our planetary and emotional boundaries and beyond. This is an incredibly painful means of resetting, but it has radically increased our appreciation for one another and our inherent connectedness.

On our end as a business we had been working so hard and so fast before and after launch, that at least for me personally it's been an important moment to breathe and reflect on everything we have learned. I feel so much more creative and clear on our priorities – the business backdrop is very challenging, and this is a mindset that is helping me navigate.
