What... Blood Sisters Earrings

Why...
Because these jewels will certainly heighten the (period) drama

These 14kt gold, garnet and pearl earrings are part of Anissa Kermiche’s Period Drama collection and “stand for womanhood and the beauty of time”. Their name, ‘Blood Sisters’, is a reference to the work of the novelist Jane Corry and the monthly ‘period drama’ that women go through.

‘Garnet’ comes from the Latin word granatum, meaning pomegranate, indicating its intense red colouring. And in medieval times the stone was thought to have healing powers and act as a protective talisman against pain. The pearls form crescent moons alluding to the one constant in our lives, our monthly cycles. These earrings combine contemporary edge with the subtle symbols of  femininity. Yes, sister!
