I love Marques Almeida's philosophy of upcycling, using deadstock and their consistently environmentally responsible way of producing clothes. This slip top is perfect with a pair of oversized trousers I've also found that go perfectly for a summer outfit with a dash of personality. Said trousers is from Forte Forte who always make beautiful textiles and decadent shapes and these wide leg trousers, though a bit tame from the usual FF fare, are a great shape. If you're looking for a great bag to invest in, Wandler always delivers functionality alongside beauty and this colour is so rich in this shape.

I live in sandals in the summer, and I like them minimal and streamlined, but these add a dash of glamour with its Jimmy Choo hardware and animal print. I've only recently discovered hats - not sure why it's taken me so long, and I'm building a winter v.s. summer hat collection. This one is light in its white woven straw and I like its masculine take.

Nothing says 'we're having terrible summer weather' than feeling compelled to buy knitwear in July. But, this Ganni alpaca-blend sweater instantly caught my eye for perfecting the equilibrium of a vintage style done in a modern way. Paired with this Marine Serre phone case and I'll have a look that take me from summer – because realistically the horrible weather will continue – into autumn.

Any brides to be that want to snap up a one of a kind wedding dress should go for this Molly Goddard dress – this unconventional option still has the romantic cues necessary for the big day. While I'm not due to be wed I clearly have an attraction to the pure shade, as this Jacquemus skirt, with a 40% discount, was added straight to basket upon finding it. In the hope that the warmer weather will come back, I'll be traipsing the streets of London in these clog-esque sandals from Chloé – because who doesn't want to look like a boho babe in the sun?

You know the cabin fever is getting real when you add this dreamy Jacquemus dress to your shopping basket. I have yet to find an occasion to wear it but it has a lovely silhouette and that open-back with straps is to die for so why not?! For a daytime look, these mules from Arket make for a modest (and comfortable) pairing along with this chain bracelet from Sophie Buhai, who makes some of the best surreal and minimal jewellery.

On the flip side, one item I know I'll get a lot of wear out of in rainy London is this Ganni cardigan; the buttons give me hope that I can whip it off as as soon as the sun shows. Lastly, every sale-scouring basket needs an item that you can use right away and you can't go wrong with this Nanushka faux leather tote that'll serve you well no matter the season.

Over the past year we have seen fashion becoming more comfortable and comforting – our clothes adapting to the slowdown in our lives. Now as the pace is picking up, we're having fun again, dressing up and being daring. I love the idea of keeping some of the comfort and cool, and marrying that with complete decadence. Case in point, this uber-cool oversized Ganni twill blazer and matching pinstripe shorts, paired with crystal and pearl suede heels from Jimmy Choo and a hot pink Amina Muaddi box bag. Finally after over a year of "hopefully soon" we're throwing all caution to the wind and just going with it– whether to the dance floor or the grocery store.
