Last year we met Copenhagen-based Britt Sisseck and her beautiful shirts with re-imagined details, from a great balloon sleeve to lovely folkloric floral fabrics well loved in Scandinavia alongside striped shirting that brought a tomboy essence to an otherwise feminine shirt.

While we've enjoyed all the on-schedule Copenhagen Fashion Week shows such as Stine Goye, Ganni and Mother of Pearl, we wanted to catch up with the Britt Sisseck team who chose to exhibit their SS22 season at the Revolve fair instead, off-schedule, where the exhibition space was transformed by its equitable request that all brands did not personalise their sales spaces so that the eye could be drawn to each brand's product rather than the custom razzmatazz in presentation that has been so endemic and overpowering.

And we're glad they did – whether a lovely gingham overall with frilled shoulders or its shirt equivalent with a doily-like collar over a padded quilt jacket in soft white, we love how Britt Sisseck continues to innovate the humble shirt and give us all reasons to re-invest in a classic with a new twist.
