Just when you thought that the internet couldn't be broken twice, the news that Fendi and Skims were collaborating on a capsule collection was announced just weeks after Fendace happened. To celebrate the launch – which can be shopped on its own dedicated website ,  – the duo have paired up with Selfridges to create an exclusive purple and printed pop-up.

The collaboration was initiated when Fendi Creative Director Kim Jones noticed that his team "went silent and started looking at their phones", excitedly waiting for the next iteration of Skims to launch during a meeting, and brings together two diametrically opposite brands that each have their own respective fanbase. Utilising the form and fit that Skims is famous for, Jones has taken inspiration from an archival Fendi collection first presented by Karl Lagerfeld in 1979. Expect to find a mix of strawberry and grape shades with the earth tones that Kim (Kardashian, that is) is synonymous with, in crop tops, bike shorts and mini dresses all of which cling to the body to reveal its form underneath – and with matching accessories to boot.

What can happen when two Kims work together despite having two polar creative minds? See for yourself in person at their pop-up.

Visit the Fendi x Skims pop-up on the the Ground Floor and on the Second Floor (Atrium) of Selfridges, 400 Oxford St, London W1A 1AB until November 30th.
