ONE LIFE ONE PLANET is an initiative by Dsquared2 to finetune their decades-long way of working in the fashion cycle into a newer way to becoming a more responsible fashion brand through better product development. 

And they have reason to change, given the popularity of their tongue-in-cheek approach to denim, tailoring and evening wear as only the Canadian born twin brothers Dean and Dan Canten can supply. 

Having spent the past few years on researching ways to reduce their environmental impact and maximize social impact, the new ONE PLANET AND ONE LIFE capsule collection for Spring Summer 2022 encapsulates all of that work. Working with only recycled fabrics (from nylon and synthentics) along with cotton certified as Recycled Claim Standard, Global Organic Textiles Standard, and Organic Content Standard (yes, that's a lot of standards!) - they are all finished with processes engineered to reduce their impact on environmental safety and health benchmarks.

While the very nature of fashion (more new product!) is at odds with what true sustainability is (no new product!) we commend every step that gets us one step closer to doing less damage while enjoying comfort and beauty!
