From Fragrance to Flavour

Loewe is celebrating the release of their newest pistachio-scented candle with a two-week pop-up ice cream bar at The Dreamery. If you have spent any time on Tiktok this summer, you’ll already know the infamous north London spot, best known for its natural wine and soft serve pairing, has become a regular fixture on everyone’s For You Page. Now, Loewe is making it smell just as good as it tastes.The two brands are known for attracting the fashion-forward, and with summer now in full swing, visitors are invited to experience the connection between scent, taste, and Spanish heritage through a multisensory journey.

The candle draws inspiration from the unmistakable pistachio nut. With a warm, distinct sweetness, it’s the newest addition to the brand’s perfumes Home Scents collection. Loewe is no stranger to food-inspired goods; with their viral tomato and artichoke bags, blurring the lines between fashion, craft and greengrocer, well before food became luxury’s favourite reference point.  Crafted in Spain with natural wax, housed in a terracotta vessel in a pale yet distinct green; it’s reminiscent of the landscape of the beautiful Iberian countryside that grows the vast majority of Spain’s pistachios.

For the pop-up, The Dreamery has enlisted master ice-cream makers to create a bespoke pistachio flavour, inspired by the scent, available exclusively during the collaboration.  They have transformed the traditional ice cream stop that has become so familiar to the young north London crowd it normally attracts into a multi-sensory experience where visitors to the bar won't just taste the ice cream; they'll encounter the Pistachio Candle's scent alongside it, creating a dialogue between what's smelled and what's savoured.
