Mulberry gets the Rejina Pyo Treatment
Reworked versions of archive bags will become your new favourite accessory
Mulberry has teamed up with South Korean-born, London based designer Rejina Pyo for a new capsule collection, blending Mulberry’s British design heritage with Pyo’s unique aesthetic. The collaboration, part of Mulberry Editions, includes bags, accessories, clothing, and jewellery. Both brands emphasise lasting design, quality, and a sense of community in their creations.
Rejina Pyo is known for her thoughtful collections that encourage women to express their individuality. Her designs have plenty of modern touches, with subtle surprises so it is fun to see her drawing from Mulberry’s archives, and including in the collection a reimagined version of the classic Blenheim bag, simplified with fewer exterior pockets and incorporating a knotted closure, a signature of Pyo’s own work. Another standout is the Top Handle Crossbody bag, inspired by Mulberry’s Clovelly range. The playful Teddy Bear keyring reflects the lighthearted spirit shared by both brands. In line with Mulberry’s commitment to sustainability, the leather used in the collection is carbon-neutral, offset through the World Land Trust, and sourced from environmentally certified tanneries.
The collection’s autumn-inspired color palette evokes classic British design. Alongside the leather accessories, Pyo has crafted a small, curated range of ready-to-wear pieces. These include an oversized camel trench coat made from organic cotton, a belted suit in a heritage-check wool that’s responsibly sourced, and a draped knit top in a warm green alpaca-blend, embodying the essence of the season.
