As today is National Lipstick Day, we've asked some of London's leading ladies across the fashion and jewellery realms to share what shade they love and why.

My favourite lipstick is... Rosewater Weightless Lipstick by Kosas.
It's my favourite because... It’s super hydrating and you don’t have to be precise with it – no mirror needed! I’m also pregnant at the moment so its clean ingredients are a big plus.
It's special to me because... I’ve been through phases in my relationship with lipstick. Through my 20s lipstick felt too fussy, but now in my 30s it’s become somewhat of a ritual. There’s something thrilling about putting on lipstick to start your day. Even through lockdown, just for me, to lift a completely bare face.

My favourite lipstick is... Tell Laura Hot Lips Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury.
It's my favourite because... It’s an orange/red rather than a traditional red which I love. Less classic and a bit sassy – perfect for day and night. I also love that its matt and it stays on for hours.
It's special to me because... Charlotte has been a dear friend for many years, and this was one of the first colours she has chosen for me so I wouldn’t dare to disobey. Its perfect and very me!

It's my favourite because... I love the colour (it’s a red that goes with everything), it’s so soft, doesn’t dry your lips and it lasts for hours even after a meal – your lips look spotless!
It's special to me because... Red lipstick runs in my family. I grew up seeing my French grandmother and mother wearing red lipstick from the moment they woke up. It’s a family trademark, I have been wearing red lipstick since I was 16.

It's my favourite because... It’s a matte shade and stays on all day!
It's special to me because... I bought this lipstick for the first time whilst living in NYC back in 2016. I bought it during one fashion week as I needed a lipstick that stayed on and was a bright happy shade that made me feel and look awake, despite being sleep deprived! It worked and I have never looked back, it is now my uniform! It reminds me of the fun times I had running around NYC.

My favourite lipstick is... Boheme Rouge Coco Flash Lipstick by Chanel.
It's my favourite because... As a complete lipstick and tinted lip balm addict (I would freak out if I ever left the house and didn’t have one with me), I’ve never found one I love as much as this for every day, as it’s the perfect shade of peachy-rose, and is super moisturising. I’ve been wearing it religiously now for four years nearly every day. I keep trying new ones but always come back to this.
It's special to me because... I suppose it has become “the lipstick of my thirties”. I think I first got it on my 30th birthday and have been wearing it ever since. My thirties have been a whirlwind, in a good but also challenging way. I definitely felt like I’d made some major transformations in my thirties, and this lipstick will probably always remind me of this time.
