Alex Prager: Silver Lake Drive
For those of us who literally can’t wait until they hit the sunny shores of Cornwall and/or Costa Rica (whatever floats your boat!), mise en scène masterpieces of Alex Prager will transport us there in an instant. Amalgamating over 40 super saturated, large-scale photographs, from the fanciful to the ‘banal’ – often technicoloured and realised from an aerial perspective – alongside the artist’s filmic oeuvre, The Photographers’ Gallery’s latest exhibition is one of pure and unadulterated escapism.

Notting Hill Carnival
Europe's biggest (and best!) street festival, Notting Hill Carnival is the one time of the year that go-all-out dancing in the streets of West London is more than encouraged… So, natch, it’s an occasion to make the most of!
Do just that to the beats of dancehall, dub and reggae (blared out from 37 soundsystems), parade alongside steel bands, indulge in Caribbean street food and celebrate London's multiculturalism. Basically, precisely the way that bank holidays are intended to be celebrated.
