Continuing the #WomanCrushWednesday thread, this week Montse B. of Philo K shares her decade-long girl crush. 

WHO// Cynthia Nge

CAREER// Jewellery designer and founder of Minicyn.

WHY// I have admired her work for almost ten years – since she started as a jewellery designer.

But, it was when I lived in Paris and I met the amazing person behind those meticulous, delicate and beautiful designs, that I fell in love with exactly who she is.

This apparently fragile woman, at first sight, hid a strong, conscious, generous and talented person inside who has been able to run a successful brand all by herself and without following fashion trends – something very difficult and rare these days… and worthy of admiration!

She came from New Zealand to create her atelier in Paris, where she works alone creating all the designs from beginning to end with admirable dedication and love. She is a real artisan.

Cynthia is one of the most precious gifts that the city gave me; she is a friend who is far away but always feels close. I feel really grateful to have her in my life.
