Hey June! You’ve hastily approached us – we’re already halfway through 2020?! – at a time when we’ve spent the majority of this year inside, and your greeting gift of warm weather and continuous sun has been greatly appreciated.

With lockdown restrictions edging closer back to the life we once knew, days/evenings/whole weekends spent outside with friends and family is on the top of our to do list. But if you’re in need of a break from the sun, we’ve hero-ed the best virtual activities that are going ahead this month.

Fleabag at Soho Theatre on Demand
Our beloved BAFTA winning writer-cum-actress-cum-producer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has returned back to the (digital) theatre stage with her well-loved production, Fleabag. First showcased in 2013 at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the play was taken across the world before it was made into a TV series in 2016. After returning to theatres in 2019 (where it was also filmed and aired within cinemas), Soho Theatre has now made it available to rent through their website. 100% of the sales will be donated to different charities dedicated to supporting those affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, including NHS Charities Together. Get streaming!

Fleabag is available to rent till June 31st, and can be rented from here.

The Show Must Go Online
In such a tumultuous and ever-changing period of our lives, humour and joy is needed more than ever. With this in mind, Jack Baldwin and Liam Jeavons have organised an evening of live-streamed entertainment, featuring an array of stand-up comedy and poetry performances. With writing by Caoilinn Hughes, and performances by Rose Leslie and James Atherton, you’re guaranteed to be amused throughout. The evening is free to view, but any donations made will go to the mental health charity, CALM – making you’re evening of entertainment you’re act of goodwill.

The Show Must Go Online is live June 1st at 7pm, and can be streamed here.
