Oh hi July! English footy fans will be rolling into the seventh month of the year with a smile on their face after the rather surprising win against Germany, which now has us all questioning; is it actually coming home?

But if your idea of fun doesn't include chanting 'Come on England!', then fret not, as this month still sees a flurry of non-sport related activities that'll entertain you in a way the Euros can't. Find our favourites for the month below.

King’s Cross Summer Love Film Festival
Anyone else feel guilty when they don't spend any time outdoors on a balmy sunny day? If so, the outdoor cinema in Kings Cross should be your activity of choice, as you can top up your tan whilst unwinding to the many films showing throughout the month. Cult classics, including Mean Girls, Romeo and Juliet and Little Women, will be aired every evening of the month, whilst Wimbledon and the Tour de France will be shown during the day, catering to the tastes of anyone. And the best part? It's completely free.

Visit the King’s Cross Summer Love Film Festival between July 1st and July 25th, at the canalside steps, Granary Square, Kings Cross.

Love Stories installation at the Vashi Store
Playing on the idea that jewellery is a token of love, Vashi have dedicated a digital display that spans over two floors of their newly opened flagship to the romantic tales of their customers. Input your anecdote via their iPad, and watch as your handwritten letter populates the screen. Each message is animated, moving and dancing with different colours and shapes to bring
it to life and tell the story behind it. And if you do so before July 2nd, you'll automatically entered to win a bespoke experience for two in Covent Garden worth £10,000. Tout suite!

Visit the Vashi flagship store on 46 Piccadilly, London W1J 0DS.

Charly Cox 'Wish You Were Here: Postcards From The Past'
exhibition
We all have treasured mementos that are only significant to ourselves, but would you want yours put on display? This is exactly what poet Charly Cox has done with Wish You Were Here: Postcards from the Past, her latest interactive exhibition that explores nostalgia, memory and the emotional relationship with our keepsakes. Set across two floors in Soho, the exhibit showcases a range of mediums, including a live painting by Karimah Hassan, a London based artist in residence at Alexander McQueen’s Sarabande Foundation, as well as soundscapes and visual presentations of new poetry by Charly. You can also find a curated selection of personal relics from her peers, notable actors, activists & creatives from all disciplines. Travel through Charly's life through this uniquely personal, yet relatable exhibition.

Wish You Were Here: Postcards from the Past is open from June 30th till July 9th, at 59 Greek Street, Soho, W1D 3DZ.
