Sofas have definitely taken a beating this year. With 2020 being the year of indoor pastimes, Netflix shows, books, Zoom parties and just about anything has been done whilst lounging on our living room furniture. And while we've often found ourselves dreaming of far away escapes whilst seated on one, KASSL Editions and Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen have instead used that time to create a stylish settee that we now can't stop thinking about. 



Aptly named the pillow sofa for being solely compromised of several square-shaped cushions, this minimalist cosy creation is as much a piece of art as it is furniture. It's plump and modular shape, in earthy neutrals or a cloud in the sky colour palette, invites you to sink into the buttery oil coated cotton exterior – the same material of the fisherman coats that KASSL Editions is synonymous with. While the sofa is very much meant to be enjoyed for its original purpose, the geometric shape and simply construction makes for a wonderful view within your home. Warning: you may not want to sit on anything else ever again once seated.
