Move over hygge. It's all about organic lines and natural materials, according to interior designer Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez who now releases a book with Rizzoli EMBRACING NATURAL DESIGN: INSPIRED LIVING.

Raised in the ateliers of Philux, her family’s Philippine-based lifestyle brand has championed local artisans and craftsmanship over its four decades, and she now heads it up supporting and encouraging conscious Filipino design.

Flipping through her new book, a sense of zen calm and a call to nature overcomes us. Whether a garden table setting or a more exotic clime and its perennial outdoor patio setup, Stephanie makes us dream about what both the inside and outside of the home could be.

It's no wonder that she serves as an advocate for the World Wildlife Fund’s conservation programs given her love of sustainable materials and design. Designer and fellow Rizzoli author India Hicks writes a foreword to the book which will get you shifting around furniture and rethinking the industrially produced pieces in your living room.

A hardcover at 224 pages  with around 250 colour photographs, the book is now available from Rizzoli New York
