We’ve been full steam ahead this month.

Coupling the second leg of Fashion Month, London Fashion Week, and its surrounding festivities with the return of the London Design Festival and then some, September is a serious contender for the top month on the cultural calendar

There’s a feeling of ‘so much to see, so little time’ in the air – which is why we’re on a mission to cram the weekends to the rafters with artsy insights and inspiration. And so, we suggest catching the last of the London Design Biennale in its final hours, to rediscover the work of London-based fashion designer Matty Bovan, along with installations and exhibits from a roster of world-leading architects, designers, scientists, writers and more...

Temperamental, trans-seasonal climes bring tricky decisions in the wardrobe department, but we've got our Biennale lewk down pat, combining an asymmetric wool number from Calvin Klein 205W29NYC, a cut-out wool twill skirt with scarf-printed panels from Toga Archivesboots made for walking via Ganni and artful finishing touches-cum-focal points from Staud, plus our new favourite jewellery innovator, INGY Stockholm.

Expect to be well on your way to becoming a walking work of art!

The London Design Biennale runs until 23 September, 2018 at Somerset House.
