The capital is welcome to a trio of very excellent pop-ups this month. And with Valentine's day around the corner, there has never been a better time to practice some self love and treat yourself to a new bag (or two... or three).

Bottega Veneta at Harrods
7th February 7 to 1st March
More than simply inhabiting a little square of Harrods’ floor space, this pop-up presents an exclusive collection of Bottega Veneta classics, including the Padded Cassette, the Mini BV Jodie and Mini Arco, rendered in racing green leather (in tribute to the retail behemoth from where they are being sold). Under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, Bottega Veneta’s accessories line has developed a cult following - there is even an Instagram account dedicated to the ‘New Bottega’. So, if you fancy getting your hands on a Pouch bag  updated with a gold chain strap, then get yourself down to Knightsbridge asap.

Gucci Pin at The Selfridges Corner Shop
10th February 7 to 1st March
Gucci Pin at The Selfridges Corner Shop is a neon lit, psychedelic immersive space extravaganza. It is the London part of Gucci’s global schedule of pop-ups called ‘Pin’ (after the locator pins on digital maps). There will be five exclusive items at Selfridges, including a backpack and bucket bag fashioned from bright green leather as well as ready-to-wear and accessories featuring multi-coloured GG motifs and stars from the GG Psychedelic collection.

Mulberry: Made to Last
14th to 16th February

For London Fashion Week Mulberry has planned a programme of events to allow you to a glimpse ‘behind the scenes’ of the British accessories stalwart. They are bringing their Somerset-based factory to Bond Street so that you can see their new 100% sustainable, and very beautiful, Portobello tote in-the-making. Also in the schedule are craft workshops, a pop-up café and a number of industry talks.
