There's no place like the Great British high street – from its iconic independents, to seasonal Pop-Ups and those expansive, world-class department stores – but we have reimagined our usual Store Stories feature as eStore Stories as we make the full-time switch to online browsing and no where to go. For the forseeable future, we'll be highlighting our favourite e-tailers to scope out the must-have pieces and online exclusives that get us inspired. This week, we spoke to

Sophie Larsen, the founder of Lårs Labels, about their brand-spanking new online shop.

Fashion fiends and sustainable fanatics rejoice, for the launch of Lårs Labels brings ethical customers and sustainable designers together under one roof. Encouraging customers to purchase mindfully, Lårs Labels is the new destination for socially conscious, design-led fashion, beauty and jewellery.

Co-founders Sophie Larsen and Chris Jarret are passionate about curating an environment in which design, aesthetics and creativity can thrive alongside sustainability. Lårs Labels therefore advocates that customers purchase with consideration, getting to know the materials and ingredients of the item, so that they can be confident that each purchase has a positive impact.

With such a range of designers and brands stocked, from Rakha to Farryn Amber, we caught up with Sophie Larsen to hear about her top 3 picks…

What... White Horse One Piece in Violet by Bower

Because... "For Summer, firstly I’m championing the Bower White Horse One Piece Swimsuit in Violet. Bower offers beautiful swimwear pieces that also have amazing initiatives; All of their swimwear products are produced using ECONYL®, a yarn created from post consumer plastic waste including discarded fishing nets. The final product is then composed at a small, specialised factory in Italy with 1% of profits donated to the Healthy Seas initiative. They produce limited quantities in order to reduce waste and components are sourced from suppliers within Europe that adhere to high standards of production and ensure safe and fair working environments for their employees. Like all of the brands we are working with, Bower are also fully transparent in their whole process from design to delivery. I love the colour and the shoulder detail adds a playful element. I also like how you can pair this back with a pair of high waist shorts or jeans."

What... O Pioneers Nora Midi Dress in Rich Purple

Because... "Continuing on a purple theme, I’m also championing O Pioneers and personally loving the Nora Midi Dress in Rich Purple. Based in Camden, O Pioneers create a few simple, feminine and flattering designs, hand-crafted in beautiful, end of stock, heritage fabrics. This means most of the pieces are limited editions and one offs which are made responsibly made by local seamstresses in London. Constructed from Liberty Tana Lawn Cotton, I really like the vintage aesthetic and this would most definitely be a timeless classic to keep in the wardrobe for seasons to come."

What... Farryn Amber Luminous Body Oil

Because... "Farryn Amber hand blends all products to the highest quality, using organic botanical extracts to enhance senses and leave skin revitalised. All products are high quality vegan and eco-luxury with a completely cruelty free supply chain. I’ve chosen the Luminous Body Oil as it’s a must have during the dryer summer months; formulated from coconut oil, Wild Mallow Flower and Safflower Oil, the body oil is full of moisturising vitamins and antioxidants and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It’s such a great alternative to a standard moisturiser after a bath or shower and leaves the skin feeling super smooth and supple."
