There's no place like the Great British high street – from its iconic independents, to seasonal Pop-Ups and those expansive, world-class department stores – but with the pandemic having caused many shops to momentarily close their doors, we've reimagined our usual feature to include the e-tailors that give us the same level of excitement as bricks and mortar. This week, we spoke to Petar Petrov, Creative Director of his eponymous label, about his picks of the season.

Founded in Vienna back in 2009, Petar Petrov has since been a purveyor of understated elegance through his distinct tailoring, fluid fabrics and delectable colour palettes.

Having started his year with a runway debut at London Fashion Week during the AW20 shows – which quite honestly feels like centuries ago – he's now ending it having launched his e-com site, with the aforementioned collection and resort 2021 now easily accessible and available to buy.

We asked the designer to give us a whistle-stop tour of his new digital space, by picking out his favourite three styles for the season.

What... The ABIEL Dress in Amber

Because... "The ABIEL dress is a great option for New Years. It’s easy, soft and comfortable and is considered as one of the highlights of the season. It stands out thanks to the drape detail around the neck that creates a feminine shape, and pleats that underline the elegant yet generous silhouette."

What... The MACAWI Coat in Pigeon

Because... "The MACAWI coat is offered in an exciting new blue shade and is characterised by the wild shearling texture – an outstanding winter style, great to pair with jeans."

What... The OSHUA Jacket in Camel

Because...
"The JOSHUA jacket is a new take on tailoring and the favourite jacket of the season for press – a super feminine yet relaxed and special style."
