Lockdown may not have ceased, but our patience with confinement is starting to. Bored with our continuous surroundings, finding inspiration and motivation seems to be harder than ever when our days involve trivial tasks. Indulging in a book with a cup of tea, or cooking dinner while listening to a podcast is a momentary way of spicing up your day to day, but why not look to the app we love to shun; Instagram.

Endless scrolls through the social media app may uncover content counterproductive towards our intentions, but with some repurposing and intention at play, we can use it to find the bouts of inspiration unaccessible within our homes. We've asked some creative minds to share the IG's they're liking during lockdown, starting with the Founder of Alighieri, Rosh Mahtani.

If you're in need of a mood boost?
I have been following Lou Doillon for a long time now, and we have become close friends. She started a “5’o’clock club”, where she went Live every day at 5pm, through 57 days through confinement in France, to share a reading or song. The club brought everyone together and gave me a moment to stop, listen and learn something new each day. Her energy and smile is so contagious.

If you're in need of some creative stimulation?
Jaja Hargreaves is a close friend of mine and is my go to for some visual stimulation. I get lost in her archive of images which include uncovered photographs from decades past, as well as modern and visual art. I always see something new and interesting.

If you want some innovative fashion content?
Camille is one of my favourite fashion editors/stylists and her Instagram is beaming with fashion references I do not see anywhere else. She is an icon of mine.

If you're in need of a laugh?
Ahh who does not love Raven Smith, he is the funniest! He reminds me not to take life too seriously and a visit to his Instagram is a guaranteed laugh.
