If, like us, you've had your head turned this summer by the strappy sandals that seem to be populating our IG feeds, you'll have most likely heard of the trailblazer in minimalist shoes, NEOUS.

Since their inception in 2017, the brand helmed by Vanissa Antonious has made a name for themselves with their delectable designs that are routed in embracing the hybridity of many cultures. Made in Italy by independent artisans that use century-old, traditional hand work techniques, whilst also taking inspiration from Antonious' Egyptian heritage and Australian upbringing, the brand celebrates  multiculturalism through a structured and timeless aesthetic. Now – having had every iteration of shoes on our wishlist over the years – we're lusting over their newest offering of handbags.

The NEPTUNE hobo and PLUTO clutch are the first (of hopefully many more) bags from the brand, and their purposeful yet pretty design have won our hearts over. Inspired by the sculptural paper artworks of Richard Sweeney, the repetition of the longitude pleat's found in his work are the striking USP of each style. The PLUTO clutch's mussel-shell shape will make it the talking point of any social distanced affair, whereas the NEPTUNE hobo bag makes for your day-to-day accompaniment as you travel the city. With both styles coming in a muted earth-inspired colour palette of sand, clay and terracotta, they'll easily compliment all outfits that range on the minimal-to-maximal spectrum. Get yours before they quickly sell out!
