It's not often that designers band together as a collective force for change. For decades, fashion hasn't managed to shake its rep of being a competitive and exclusive industry, but with the climate crisis and acts of xenophobia dominating our headlines, brands who aren't waking up to the shared responsibility to do better are the ones now that are on the backfoot.

With International Women's Day on the 8th of March, the power of platform and voice has stepped up. Giant luxury retailer Net-A-Porter has continued their initiative to collect, combine and reverberate the voice of 20 brands, who want to support women who are most vulnerable.  Now in their third year of partnership with Women for Women International, NAP has released an exclusive capsule of 20 t-shirts, with each tee being designed by a different brand or female designer. From Cecilie Bansen's group of supportive girls to ROTATE's anagram, each design aims to promote confidence, empowerment and sisterhood, while sticking to their fashionable aesthetic. With 100% of profits going to Women for Women International, they can continue to help women who have fallen victim to the effects of war, by enrolling them in a year long training program that teaches them how to rebuild their lives through education.

While an emancipating mindset shouldn't ever be put to the back of our minds, these white tees continue to act as our daily reminder.
