Andreas and Vivienne haven't ever been described as wallflowers, and when it comes to showing the next season of clothes, their exuberant personalities always shine through.



Despite the lack of IRL shows this season, the SS21 film presenting the next season of Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood clothing still had the same atmosphere of vivaciousness running through it. Shot entirely by Andreas on his iPhone, the film consisted of Vivienne, Sara Stockbridge, Vita Leandra and Andreas himself reciting poetry from William Shakespeare, Li Ho and Walther von der Vogelweide.



The clothes still exuded the punk heritage that defines the brand: a darkened Union Jack motif and the London map print definitely had an ironic, anti-establishment air to them. And the brand's persistent desire to create without harming the planet was verified by an accompanying sustainability manifesto that was sent to the press. The film 'Down to No. 10' couldn't be more Westwood if it tried.
