One of a kind sartorial pieces are usually found in vintage shops or from vendors selling second-hand, with the notion that the older they get the more exclusive they are. But Evie Henderson is actively changing that with The Yellow World; a retailer that only stocks limited-edition capsules that have been designed in collaboration between Evie and the brands themselves. "I was always into the idea of having my own brand, but I was never 100% sure of what I wanted to create as I’m into so many different things," explains Evie, who launched TYW last year. "The Yellow World is actually the perfect meeting of minds." Only stocking fashion, accessories and homeware that have been made in collaboration with The Yellow World means that theres an array of completely unique styles that only a few will get a hold of – a big tick in our books.

Having launched July 1st, their latest endeavour is a swimsuit and scrunchie combo, made in collaboration with swimwear sensation, Hunza G. As is the way with any of the brand's body-embracing designs, this bikini set utilises their signature 'Crinkle' stretch-seersucker Lycra in an eye-catching colour palette. "The Hunza G x TYW collaboration is unique through its use of colour," shares Evie. "The pink and the orange haven’t been done together before by the brand, and we also offer matching scrunchies to go with your bikini – kind of a perfect combo!" That indeed it is.

What is a book that you always come back to and why?
The Language of Letting Go by Melody Beatty – it honestly gives the best daily meditations. 

What is your morning ritual like?
Not very fancy… I always start my day with breakfast and a coffee.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
I don’t know if this counts as advice, but to always have faith; as when one door closes another one opens. 

What is an ongoing goal of yours?
For The Yellow World to continue to grow, and making sure that it always remains a joyful place, where clients can find their happiness and discover new and exciting things at the same time! 



What’s your party trick?
French exit.

If you could travel anywhere right now, where would it be?
Without a doubt, Sydney!

Name something that you’re grateful for?
The relationship I have with my family – I cherish it so much!
