High fashion and outdoor excursions don't often meet, but Fendi's new summer capsule proves that when the do, it can be oh so chic

Having launched last week with an exclusive pop-up in Selfridges, the latest capsule from the Italian fashion house includes a lot more than just your sartorial statement pieces. As well as utilitarian style cargo pants, multi-pocketed shirts and transformable jackets, the collection includes a selection of camping gear that'll have you equipped for any back-to-nature holidays you may endeavour

But don't expect the drab earthy tones of an ordinary outdoor kit. The collection is plastered with a new motif, the FF Vertigo, which has been designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi and New York-based artist Sarah Coleman; whose known for her disruptive manipulation of designer materials. The result: a psychedelic version of the FF logo that takes cues from 70s and 90s – how groovy! Whilst the logo-printed paddle board, tent, thermos and Polaroid camera will have you set for outdoor adventures, city-dwellers that prefer a metropolitan lifestyle can indulge in the new iteration of the Baguette 1997 bag. However you'll be spending your summer, whether its exploring the great outdoors or strolling the streets of metropolises, this Fendi summer capsule will be able to cater to whatever occasion.

Shop the Fendi summer capsule at their pop-up in Selfidges, 400 Oxford St, London W1C 1JS.
