As a style icon within her own right, Solange Knowles has always pioneered the creative minds within fashion. And now her support has stepped up a notch, as her creative agency, Saint Heron has collaborated with the International Woolmark Prize to create a film that showcases their six finalists' work.

Named Passage, the film explores the stages of creation in six acts – contemplation, courage, optimism, vulnerability, discipline and strength – whilst also giving a stage to the finalists' collections. Bethany Williams, Kenneth Ize, Casablanca, LECAVALIER, Matty Bovan and Thebe Magugu are worn throughout the film on a mix of rising musical talent and legendary figures, including 5x Grammy award winning artist, Dionne Warwick; actress, model and author, Dominique Jackson; eclectic artist, SahBabii; Atlanta psychedelic soul legend, Joi; and one of music’s most exciting new voices and Pitchfork ranked best new music of 2020 singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, KeiyaA. McArthur Award-winning director, Wu Tsang directs the film, and with Ib Kamara doing the styling and Standing on The Corner having created the score, this project is a mix of some of the best creatives in the business.

This theatrical piece of performance art gives these collections a voice of their own, and is an exciting way of bringing attention to these creatives. With the winner being revealed on June 10th, this will entertain us while we wait.
