Over the past few years, we've seen fashion step up to help those in need. Whether it be by creating PPE when resources were low or by dropping a specific product where 100% of the profits are donated breast cancer charities, certain brands in the industry are actively trying to make a change through the means that they have.

Rachel Boston 9ct gold and diamond Uruz earrings

Today, more philanthropic efforts are being made, as the Jewellers for Afghanistan charity auction launches on Roseberys. Enraged with the recent treatment of Afghan people, and especially women, Rosie Lillis PR has asked 25 jewellery designers – including icons Solange, Shaun Leane, Pippa Small and  Annoushka as well as emerging talent like Jessie Thomas, Christopher Thompson-Royds and Rachel Boston – to donate one of their pieces to be auctioned. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Women For Afghan Women: a grassroots women’s rights organisation which is helping to evacuate and provide urgent resources, shelter and care to vulnerable women and children during this crisis. Be it an 18ct gold, emerald and diamond pinky ring by Boochier to a pair of Liv Luttrell silver earrings, it'll be hard not to find something that suits your tastes.

Running for one week only on Roseberys' online auction, take this as an opportunity to get your hands on a truly unique product safe in the knowledge that you'll be helping others too.

The Jewellers for Afghanistan auction start on Monday 27th September at 11am, and will run until 11am on Monday 4th October, and it will be taking place here.
