The British Fashion Council has announced it’s time to support the British fashion industry in the most public way, with an exciting schedule for A Celebration of London Fashion Week, set to take place from today, October 6th to October 13th, presented by Clearpay.

Throughout the week, an expansive program of 450 events and unique experiences across London will spotlight talent across the fashion industry after London Fashion Week’s trimmed-down calendar in light of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Having to scale-back in September means a full-tilt ahead schedule this week with blasts in from Alexander McQueen, RAF SIMONS and ROKSANDA all of whom will anchor the week ahead.

And oh the parties - think big with the rescheduled launch of Prada’s feminine new fragrance PARADOXE (Emma Watson's pixie cut and directorial debut for the campaign film are equally mesmerising), while a series of events including an evening for Björk hosted by bin-annual AnOther Magazine supported by Gucci will complement the shows. Because if Björk isn't Gucci, then who is?

Events are spread across London from Vivienne Westwood showing looks straight from Paris from the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood AW22/23 collection to a Q&A at Mulberry’s Regent Street flagship with celebrity stylist Harry Lambert, who is best known for dressing Harry Styles in internet-breaking looks.

Celebrating both art and commerce, visitors can discover Allsaints’ special
limited-edition London Fashion Week capsule collection and attend talks with
artist Olivia Bax at Browns. The week will also feature workshops on zero-waste design and upcycling, highlighting the British fashion industry’s commitment to a sustainable future moving forward.

If you haven't already been inundated with fashion content this past fashion month (and let's face it, we have) more is yet to come, but this time with a renewed focus on all the creativity, spirit and resilience that British-based creatives have to offer. Get ready to pound the pavements!
