There's no doubt that Sex & the City and the series' protagonist Carrie Bradshaw's love affair with her Fendi Baguette rocketed the bag to icon status, feeding a frenzy of It-Bag mania throughout the early 2000s. So fast forward a few decades and it's great to see a rekindling of a  successful spark with their latest collaboration, FENDI X Sarah Jessica Parker Baguette Capsule Collection,“It’s not a bag, it’s a Baguette”, in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

The latest rendition of the iconic Baguette bag pulls together elements which embody SJP (as she's affectionately known) and FENDI’s Accessories and Menswear Artistic Director, Silvia Venturini Fendi’s long-lasting friendship. Perhaps an inkling could be felt back in September when the Fendi Baguette fashion show put SJP front row and centre (quite literally), so it's no surprise that the latest reinterpretation of the bag that launched a thousand replicas still oozes the versatility of the original but with a bright rainbow and personalizable hue.

In true Carrie Bradshaw fashion, the limited edition Baguette bag which has been produced using a sequence embroidery technique known as Tie-Dye, is playful, enticing and unique. It offers four colourways (purple, wasabi green, baby pink and turquoise blue) and interchangeable buckles to cater for its wearers fancy. A buckle for every mood? Bradshaw would bag that in a heartbeat.
