Buckle up and bag in your summer essentials into the new summer it-piece: The bucket cage bag!

First stop: The Amalfi Coast with Pucci. Ever since fashion veteran Camille Miceli took over at the storied fashion house (after it had been without a creative director since 2017!), Pucci has been on the top of our summer shopping list. Emilio Pucci, otherwise known as the “Prince of Prints”, became famous for his 1970s printed swirls and was adorned by the biggest celebrities, including Marilyn Monroe (fun fact: it's said she is buried in a green Pucci dress).

Pucci’s print silk dresses and blouses became synonymous with the Italian spirit. After being appointed creative director, Camille dug into the Florentine palazzo archives, selected some breathtaking vintage prints and translated them into her debut show "La Grotta Azzurra”, inspired by the island of Capri.

The light, latticed leather caged construction with bright silk vintage-print scarf that screams Limoncello in the sun, warm breezes and multo glamour. Even if you're sitting on the tube on a steamy Tuesday.

Now let's head on over to Greece shall we? And here we find Ancient Greek Sandals, known for – as you can guess from the name – their lovely leather summer sandals, a beach (and urban) must have wardrobe item. They've just launched their first official bag collection and within it many a take on their bestselling sandals, in bag form! Our favourite: the dark brown tote bag with a cream coloured canvas bag inside. You can see the leather has been cut by hand, with its slightly rough edges and the proud handiwork of the artisans, as well AGS products are handmade in Greece.

Whatever your bucket bag, these encapsulate the spirit of the Mediterranean summer whether on holiday or not!
